The final of the Prodigy got underway this past weekend with the winner walking away with the ultimate prize of sponsorship for the Development tour as we found out which youth player took the crown and it did not disappoint .Lewis cracknel the number 1 seed struggled to maintain his for that had seen him hit the top seed spot going down 4-2 to Josh Church and another seed to fall was the 2nd going down 4-3 to Jordan Mathews.5th Seed Tom Sawford back from injury played very well but was out battled by Supershady Charlie Stocks with the youngster winning 4-2.Jack Kerr the 3rd seed was unlucky in the last leg but was beaten by Josh sinkhobits and 7th seed Jake Rhodes did likewise going down to Jason Goff.It wasn't all bad for the seeds as Tom Gurran ,Steve Naisbit and Brandon Walsh the highest seed left would make it through to the last 8.

Charlie Stocks
Lewis Cracknell (1) 2-4 Josh Church
Steve Naisbit (8) 4-3 DJ Knowles
Tom Sawford (5) 2-4 Charlie Stocks
Brandon Walsh (4) 4-3 Jack Curl
Jack Kerr (3) 3-4 Josh Sinkobits
Tom Gurran (6) 4-0 Owen Cubitt
Jake Rhodes (7) 2-4 Jason Goff ...
Jordan Matthews 4-3 Thomas Lovely (2)

Last 8

Josh Church 4-0 Steve Naisbit (8)
Charlie Stocks 1-4 Brandon Walsh (4)
Josh Sinkobits 4-3 Tom Gurran (6)
Jordan Matthews 4-0 Jason Goff

Josh Church powered into the semi finals with a brilliant display and was followed by Brandon Walsh who had to pull out his top game to get past young Mr Stocks.Tom Gurran led 3-1 but was clawed back by Josh sinkobits and Jordan Mathews who had rode his luck so far was clinical in a 4-0 win.
No 4 seed Brandon walsh

Semi ~final

Josh Church 2-4 Brandon Walsh (4)
Jordan Matthews 4-2 Josh Sinkobits

Both semi's had the same feel as Josh church and Josh sinkobits both held throw well for 2-2 but then both went down to power scoring from Brandon Walsh and Jordan Mathews as the two best on the day went into the final

Final

Brandon walsh (4) 3-4 Jordan Mathews

Brandon was very unlucky in the final as he led 2-1 and 3-1 and had a full set at the double for the title but Jordan is not called the bear for nothing as he fought hard to take it to a deciding and final leg.Brandon and Jordan didn't falter as both men had a chance to win it in the last leg but it was Jordan Mathewws as he did when winning the project youth championship a year before that would take the Prodigy title and with it a full year sponsor on the UK Development tour, shirts and equipment,A brilliant day for all there and a tremendous final that was well contested by both men.
