Sheffield trades and labour club played host to the first youth tour title and it did not disappoint....

The day also held a senior pairs and singles knockout.........
Ty Ward receiving the trophy
the youth title last 8 gave some big match ups Ty Ward just edged out Tom Briggs 3-1 where tom had the chance to level the game.Joel Burkhill had a tough task in taking on Cameron hinchcliffe and the Yorkshire star came through 3-0 and he was followed there by another Yorkshire players as Curtis Turner got the better of a titanic tussle over Ben Oldroyd 3-2 and in the last Q/F game it was Jack Ker making up the last 4 edging out 11yo Owen Cubit.

the first semi final was an all Yorkshire match that went down to doubles as both players gave a good show with Curtis Turner going through 3-0 over Cameron Hinchclife and in the other semi it was an all Nottinghamshire match that went right down to the wire with Ty Ward going through 3-2 over Jack Ker.

The final was a lot closer than the scoreline suggested as Ty Ward won 3-0 over Curtis turner who rood miss chances in a very good scoring game and fine efforts by both players winning through a good field of players.

The pairs semi final was won by a devilish display from Darren Johnson and Chris Gill both form the Castle Club and in the final beat John Walton and Simon Birket 3-1 in a very high scoring game with the last leg finished in 16 darts for 701.

in the senior final it was Castle Club again as John Boy Walton won 3-1 over over Brian Lewis who to be fair had his chances but John proving too good on the day.
