week 10
Chris "the Burd is the word" Burd bashed in some big scores as he gave "the Kalculator" Karl Sailsbury-Roper something to think about as the burd raced to a 4-0 win and with it you can see the improvement that this league is having on players as both men looked very steady in a good game.Andy "king bundy" Umney threw in a 16 dart leg as he had too much for the novice Joel Burkhill. Two more youngsters gaining vital experience from this is Tom Briggs who won 4-1 over "jackpot" Chris Keane with both players improvement to be seen but the big match for the youngsters was the cruz derby as Antonio Cruz and Ricardo Cruz fought out a 3-3 draw with ricardo recording a 19 dart leg and a maximum.Tony Darlow rode his luck as he got a 4-2 win over Andy Bradbury with tony hitting a 14/15/19 dart legs and both hitting maximums.Richard "dickie" Brown hit a excellent 111 checkout to beat Ryan Critchlow 4-2 and Russ Simons had the same scoreline over Jason Cole.John Walton hit a 100avr. in his victory over John Daniels and Darren Johnson equalled the lowest leg recording a 12 against Pete Daffin in a 4-1 victory with Pete solice coming from a 116 c/o.Ryab Goffin and Lee Cushworth battled out a high class 3-3 draw with all but one leg going over 20 darts and Steve Briggs and Mark Pigot produced the same score as did Bob Pinder and Ryan Critchlow but as the cruz brothers had battled out a 3-3 draw so did the other brothers Richard and Paul Beck with the match ending 3-3.
