DYNAMITE JOHNSON BANGS IN A 92 AVERAGE AND DYNAMITE DAFFIN WINS GAME OF WEEK

Night two of the premier league of darts got underway at the Woodbourne hotel and it started with a humdinger as "budha" Simon Birkett and "the tiger" Tony Darlow squared off and it was the man from Chesterfield who raced into a 2-0 lead with a 17&20 dart legs the tiger clawed his way back into it with some big scores and a 107 checkout with his 15&17 dart legs to make it 2-2 before Simon then regained the lead before tony again drew level to share the points and leave us all wandering what the rest of the night would bring after this remarkable opener.PC Russ Simons made quick work of an under par Mark Pigot as did Lester "big red" Bowers(19&20) with Karl Sailsbury Roper both games ending 4-0.

MARK PIGOTT 0-4 RUSS SIMONS
SIMON BIRKETT 3-3 TONY DARLOW
LESTER BOWERS 4-0 KARL SAILSBURY-ROPER

World champion john Walton was back in the groove as he recorded a 4-1 victory with legs of 15,16,16,17 and a 138 checkout(best on the night) in his victory over Andy Bradbury who himself recorded a 17 dart leg.Lee Cushworth and Paul Beck looked locked on paper but it was the darting demon who recorded a well deserved 4-1 victory over one of the Beck brothers and in what looked the best match up of the night did not disappoint as Pete "dynamite" Daffin and Bob Pinder went at it all guns blazing and with both players trading 180's it was Pete that record the victory much to the delight of his cheerleader Mr Cruz,Pete recording legs of 13,16,18 & 20 and Bob getting 17&20 in a thrilling 4-2 victory to the Derbyshire man.

JOHN WALTON 4-1 ANDY BRADBURY
PETE DAFFIN 4-2 BOB PINDER
LEE CUSHWORTH 4-1 PAUL BECK

Barnsleyman Chris Burd was back on it this week as he recorded a impressive 4-0 victory over 5sandwich Ricardo Cruz to leave Ric with only one direction and that's up.Steve Little wood was put to the Wilkinson Sword(thank you Mr Birkett) as he was beaten 4-0 by Carl who recorded a 85+ average with legs of 15,15,21&16 and Joelle "diamond" White gave it a good shot but was rumbled over by Daz Fitton doppelganger Steve Rumble.

CHRIS BURD 4-0 RICARDO CRUZ
CARL WILKINSON 4-0 STEVE LITTLEWOOD
STEVE RUMBLE 4-0 JOELLE WHITE

Richard Beck recorded a superb 180 but just went down to the ever consistent John Daniels 4-2 and Joel "Disturbed" Burkhill put last week defeat behind him as he recorded a 4-1 victory over "jackpot" Chris Keane. The Shock of the night went to Ryan Goffin who is improving with every game as he turn over Yorkshire legend Steve Briggs who has had a troubled start but will soon be flying up the table.

JOEL BURKHILL 4-1 CHRIS KEANE
JOHN DANIELS 4-2 RICH BECK
RYAN GOFIN 4-0 STEVE BRIGGS

Carl & Trev share top spot
Turbo Trevor Burkhill was to quick for the Sheriff Andy Taylor with a 4-0 victory but it was Daz "dynamite" Johnson recording a 92 ave that stole the show with a 4-0 victory over Russ Simons and the Headmaster Ryan Crichlow with legs of 17&18 darts to get a 4-1 victory over the natural Tom Briggs.

RYAN CRITCHLOW 4-1 TOM BRIGGS
DARREN JOHNSON 4-0 RUSS SIMONS
TREVOR BURKHILL 4-0 ANDY TAYLOR

The last game of the night was a almighty battle between Rich Brown and Antonio"yes get in pete"Cruz and after Rich had got the lead Antonio then responded to go 2-1 up before Rich then levelled the game and the last two legs was shared as rich went 3-2 up before a deserved fist pump Yes got Ants back for the draw at 3-3

ANTONIO CRUZ 3-3 RICHARD BROWN

So all in all a tremendous night of darts again at the Woodbourne hotel and after only two weeks showing how hard this is going to be for all involved as only 4 players are on 100% after two weeks and only 9 remain unbeaten.
